Fluffy’s Law
February 7, 2010 Judi

A lot of pet owners are glad to hear that Manitoba Liberals are taking action to reduce the number of pets that are needlessly euthanized in Manitoba through introducing “Fluffy’s Law”.
Bill 218, The Residential Tenancies Amendment Act will make blanket “no pet” provisions void. Landlords may set reasonable expectations of cleanliness and pet behavior. This protects both pet owners and property owners.
Fluffy’s Law is gaining a lot of attention. The Facebook page I support Fluffy’s Law (Bill 218) in Manitoba has, at the time of this writing, over 2000 fans.
If elected MLA in Concordia, I will support Fluffy’s Law for the good of pets, the health and well-being of pet owners, and the protection of landlords.
